Kelly, our manager, has been with the nursery since 2003.

She holds a Cache (NNEB) diploma in nursery nursing, and also completed her NVQ level 4 in Childcare qualification in February 2008.

She also holds the following additional qualifications

• Public first aid (including paediatric care).
• Becoming an effective leader and manager
• Promoting positive behaviour
• Intermediate food hygiene qualification
• Nutrition and health
• Introduction to the Foundation Stage Parts I & II
• Birth to three matters framework
• Safeguarding children for the designated person
• Planning for each child
• Supporting children within the autistic spectrum
• Working in partnership with parents
• I can do creative

She has a background working with children having experience in schools and nurseries as a non teaching assistant.

She is currently responsible for the day to day running of the nursery, along with planning and preparing educational topics, wall displays, role play areas, and outdoor play. Kelly is dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for all the children in our care.

Kelly is a highly motivated young woman who is very highly regarded by all her staff members. She has excellent leadership skills and is a sensitive and supportive mentor to all the team members under her authority.

Outside interests include reading, music, films, socialising, and watching football!
